Online wooden handmade articles's shop

Fatti di Legno was born in 2014 in a small workshop accessed by a retractable ladder, at the back of a garage. Antonella spent about a year there, bringing her first designs to life, practicing cutting the shapes drawn on poplar plywood with her first Proxxon fretsaw. That workshop was the beginning of an individual journey and the end of a collaboration that had begun a few years earlier.

Subsequently, for two years she created hand-painted wooden artisanal souvenirs in a new workshop, this time sharing the premises with a bicycle and mechanic workshop. These were the first interactions with the public, as someone knocked on the door to learn more about the small, one-room shop, which was described on a Facebook page.

Thanks to word of mouth and social media, in 2017 the time had come to fully capitalize on the years of study at the Academy of Fine Arts. So, after many artisan markets, "Fatti di Legno" was born as it is today, in a real location open to the public. Little by little, without a grand opening, the small shop grew, where wooden crafts were joined by selected wooden toys, personalized party favors, gift ideas and personalized writings, cake toppers, frames and photo albums, and custom creations for events.

In 2021, "a helping hand" became necessary. Antonella could have asked anyone, but instead she asked her husband Massimo, who was already collaborating on more dusty or digital projects. From there, the team has never stopped drawing, cutting, sanding, painting, engraving (thanks to the new laser machine), and shipping.
